Meet the Baker
Brittany started baking just over three years ago. What began as a simple curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown passion fueled by flour, fire, and a whole lot of love. 100% self-taught, she built her skills at home with persistence, creativity, and her now-legendary sourdough starter made from scratch, Big Bertha. From bagels to artisan loaves and focaccia, Brittany bakes it all and it shows in every bite.
By day, she works full-time in healthcare. By night (and very early mornings), she’s a flour-dusted force in the kitchen and a devoted mom of two. Every order is small-batch and baked to order, never mass produced and never frozen.
First-time customers often become regulars, drawn in by both the bread and the connection behind it.
Named in honor of her favorite place, the mountains, Crafton’s Summit Sourdough reflects Brittany’s love for hiking, camping, and chasing Colorado 14ers. Brittany is the heart of the bakery and the hands behind every single loaf.
